50% of marriages end in divorce & most couples will say they divorce someone different then they marry. Why? Because as we experience life, life changes us. Our goal in premarital counseling is to learn how to grow and change together as we learn how to navigate life.
Statistics show that premarital counseling increases marriage stability.
“A meta-analysis published in the Journal of Family Psychology in 2006 found that premarital counseling was associated with a significant increase in marital satisfaction and a decrease in the likelihood of divorce. Additionally, a study published in the Journal of Family Psychology in 2012 found that couples who received premarital education reported higher levels of marital satisfaction and lower levels of destructive conflicts compared to couples who did not receive such education.”
