Can therapy help me?
Therapy provides support, validation, coping strategies, and peace of mind. It offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to express yourself authentically and feel deeply understood, fostering a powerful, transformative connection. My approach is relationally focused and rooted in genuine compassion.
While therapy can help you navigate challenges, it does not change external circumstances or others’ behavior. I provide guidance and insights but refrain from offering direct advice – your decisions remain yours. For those new to therapy or addressing unresolved trauma, the process may feel uncomfortable at first but leads to growth over time.
Can you tell me more about the free 15-minute consultation call?
How much is it to work with you?
Payments can be made via check, cash, or credit card using Ivy Pay, a HIPAA-compliant service. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy; cancellations within 24 hours will incur the full session fee. I will try rescheduling your appointment for the same week to help avoid this charge. Additional fees apply for phone consultations, emails, or letters – please get in touch with me for rates.
How can I tell if a therapist is a good fit for me?
Building a strong connection with your therapist relies on chemistry and openness. If something I say does not resonate or your expectations aren’t met, please share, and we’ll work together.
To help you decide if we are a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to connect, discuss your needs, and answer any questions before scheduling your first session.
