In the midst of the COVID pandemic, civil unrest, wildfires and other day-to-day challenges homeless outreach team members face daily throughout Los Angeles County ~ they experienced a ray of inspiration in the form of Kim Dodd’s virtual presentation, Grief is not an Event! It is an Unwanted Journey. Kim’s thoughtful, practical and emphatic presentation has been one of the favorite weekly Webinars offered by the collaborative outreach partnership of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Los Angeles Country Department of Health Services and Los Angeles County Homeless Services Authority. We can’t wait to have her join us again!

Kim assisted us by deepening our understanding of the brain function and provided us with practical skills that will help us work with clients who experienced trauma.
